What to do when switching phones

Here is what to do, if you switch phones and want to set up Firstbeat Life app to your new phone. 

Unpair the device from the old phone

Before using your new phone, unpair your measurement device from your old phone.

How to release the pairing of the measuring device

Install Firstbeat Life app to your new phone

You can install the app on your new phone from the app store on your phone. For example, search by keyword "Firstbeat Life".

Log in to the application

After installation, you will be able to log in to the application with the same username and password you used to log in with your old phone. All your measurements and results are stored in your account, so you can open them on your new phone as well.

Pair the device with the new phone

To start a new measurement, be sure to pair the device.

To consider

If you have a measurement in progress when you change the phone, you will not be able to continue that same measurement with the new phone, but the measurement must be stopped. The results of this measurement cannot be analysed. See here for instructions on how to abort measurement.

You can then start the measurement again after the application is installed on your new phone and you have paired the device.
